Who We Are
Our website address is: http://paragkar.com.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to aid in spam detection.
An anonymized hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. You can view the Gravatar service privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After comment approval, your profile picture is publicly visible within your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience, lasting for one year. For login pages, a temporary cookie will check your browser’s acceptance of cookies and is discarded when you close your browser.
Upon logging in, we set up cookies to save login and display preferences. Login cookies last for two days; display options last for a year. Selecting “Remember Me” extends login persistence to two weeks, and logging out removes login cookies. Editing or publishing an article saves an additional cookie with no personal data; it expires after one day.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the originating site, potentially collecting data, using cookies, embedding third-party tracking, and monitoring your interactions if you’re logged in to that site.
Who We Share Your Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How Long We Retain Your Data
Comments and metadata are stored indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-up comments. Registered users’ personal information is retained in their profile and may be viewed, edited, or deleted (except for username changes). Website administrators have access to user data for editing purposes.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold, including any data provided. You may also request deletion of your personal data, excluding data retained for administrative, legal, or security reasons.
Where Your Data is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
