Yesterday, in Part 1 of this series, I took you through the fundamentals of legacy wireless technologies and concluded by listing some challenges that wireless technologies in general have to deal with. In this part, I will not only dive deeper into these challenges but also discuss how some areas of research are likely to make wireless technologies more robust and empowering for consumers, thereby laying the foundation for 6G. But before we dive into details, let’s first investigate what is the fundamental problem that we trying to solve.
